Sounds Downtown Is Back: Free Music at the Back Lot

Summer evenings are better with music—and Sounds Downtown is back to bring the community together once again. This free outdoor concert series takes place at the Back Lot every third Thursday from June 18th through September 17th, from 6–8 PM, offering an easygoing way to enjoy downtown West Plains.

Each concert opens with the Downtown House Band featuring Terry and Sean, followed by a rotating lineup of regional talent:

• June 18th – Drifters Mile

• July 16th – Kayla Ray

• August 20th– Preston Ary (solo show)

• September 17th – Molly Healey

To kick off the season, the first concert on June 18th will also feature a special creative element: Garrett Melby will be live painting throughout the evening. The finished piece will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting both West Plains Downtown and the Yellow House, making the opening night a true celebration of music and art working together.
