🎃 Scare on the Square Returns to Downtown West Plains! 🎃
Halloween falls on a Friday this year, and downtown West Plains is ready to celebrate with one of the community’s favorite traditions: Scare on the Square, happening Friday, October 31st from 5:30–7:30 PM!
This family-friendly, free trick-or-treating event brings together local businesses, volunteers, and families for an evening of costumes, candy, and connection. Last year, we welcomed over 1,700 attendees, and with Halloween kicking off the weekend, we’re expecting even more ghouls and goblins to join the fun!
👻
What to Expect:
Safe, walkable trick-or-treating around Court Square
Pop-up booths decorated by local businesses through Haunt the Block
A free photo booth to capture your spooky style
Free hot dogs from Mandy’s Hot Dogs for early attendees (while supplies last!)
Costume contests, community spirit, and plenty of treats
Scare on the Square is more than just a Halloween event—it’s a way to give back, bring people together, and celebrate the heart of West Plains. Whether you're a parent, a business owner, or just love Halloween, this is a night you won’t want to miss.
