🎃 Haunt the Block: A Halloween Pop-Up Experience at Scare on the Square 🎃
Join us for the first-ever Haunt the Block during downtown West Plains’ annual Scare on the Square event on October 31st!
Local businesses are invited to decorate pop-up booths with spooky, silly, or magical Halloween themes, pass out new, store-bought candy, and compete for prizes in a festive showdown of creativity and community spirit.

Meet hundreds of local families (last year we had over 1,700 visits!)
Get great exposure in a fun, high-energy setting
📋 Rules & Set-Up Instructions
Theme: Halloween—spooky, silly, or magical
Set-up begins at 4:30 PM
Event runs from 5:30–7:30 PM
Judging starts at 6:00 PM
Candy must be handed out during event hours
Power supply is not guaranteed, so plan accordingly
Registration deadline: October 17th
Booth locations will be shared by October 24th
Downtown businesses will be placed in front of their storefronts; outside businesses will be assigned spaces on a first-come, first-served basis

Winners will be announced publicly at the end of the event and featured online with photos. We’ll also share attendance numbers and social media reach to help you see your impact!
